One of the most consistent things I hear from clinicians training in KAP is this: I understand the concepts. I just can't quite picture what it actually looks like in the room.

These are role-plays between colleagues…no clients were hurt in the making of this film! These demonstration videos role-play key moments across the KAP treatment process.

What's included:

Initial Intake — 20 minutes
A composite of intake conversations with different kinds of clients — new to KAP, already familiar, stuck, hesitant. Covers managing fear and expectations, differentiating ketamine from other psychedelics, educating clients about the effects of the medicine, and explaining the treatment process across a range of presentations including harm reduction considerations and treatment-resistant depression protocol conversations.

Consent to Treatment — 7 minutes
A demonstration of walking a client through all the details of consenting to KAP treatment — including touch and at-home use protocols.

Touch Refusal Exercise — 5 minutes
For clinicians who offer touch as part of their treatment model: a due-diligence practice exercise to do with clients after consent has been established.

Medicine Journey Session — 16 minutes
The beginning of a medicine session — reviewing details with the client, managing expectations and anxiety, reviewing protocol for taking the medicine, locking in on intention, a short meditation, taking the medicine, and settling into the journey with occasional check-ins.

Medicine Journey Session Part II — 11 minutes
What happens when a client has difficulty settling in. Examples of common challenges in early medicine sessions and how to navigate them.

Seeing is different from reading about it. These videos are the closest thing to sitting in the room.
